Dr. Escobar, DDS
Meet Dr. Escobar, a proud native Nevadan born and raised in Reno. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, he pursued his passion for dentistry at the University of Michigan. Dr. Escobar has been dedicated to serving the Reno community since 2006 and opened his own practice in Midtown in 2010.
Dr. Escobar is fluent in Spanish and specializes in full-mouth rehabilitations, cosmetic dentistry, and more. A graduate of the prestigious Kois Center, he is committed to ongoing education to ensure he stays at the forefront of dental best practices and techniques.
Known for his happy demeanor and constant smile, Dr. Escobar is a kind and approachable dentist who puts his patients at ease. Outside the office, you can find him enjoying a round of golf or spending quality time with his wife and two children.
Ellyn
Office Manager and Registered Dental Hygienist
Ellyn is a Nevada native. She enjoys being outside as much as possible. Whether it’s hiking or enjoying time at Lake Tahoe. Cooking is her main hobby. She loves to research new dishes and try new things. Ellyn has been working in dentistry since she was 19 years old. She started as a sterilization tech and eventually started dental assisting while doing undergraduate study to prepare for dental hygiene school. She graduated from dental hygiene school in 2011. She is passionate about educating patients, explaining why dental treatment is necessary, and how patients can improve their health.
Kayla
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kayla graduated from the TMCC dental hygiene program in 2014 and has continued practicing in Reno. Her favorite part about practicing hygiene is growing relationships with her patients. She is originally from California but moved to Reno in 2008. When she isn’t at work, she can be found enjoying her time with her family. They love spending time outside, whether it’s camping, fishing, riding dirt bikes, or attending baseball games.

Hello, fellow Reno neighbors! I have been a hygienist for 21 years. 20 of those years were for a Sacramento practice until my husband retired, and we moved to Reno. We love the four seasons and outdoor desert lifestyle. I am a United States Air Force veteran. I love Nevada’s patriotism for veterans, first responders, and health care providers. It makes me want to keep doing what I love: helping people live healthier, happier lives. My husband and I have two children and one fur baby. I’ve been with Doctor Escobar for over a year now, and I can say, in my reputable professional opinion, that he’s very straightforward, honest, and trustworthy.

I just recently joined the team at the end of 2023. I moved to Reno in 2016 from Sacramento and have been a dental assistant for about 15 years. I absolutely love the dental field and being able to build patient relationships. In my free time, I enjoy traveling outdoors and spending time with my family, friends, and two English bulldogs.
